The Pennsylvania Blues Festival at Blue Mountain Ski Resort In The Pocono Mountains Of Pennsylvania will be held July 27th to July 29th. The setting is a beautiful, natural amphitheatre, acoustically perfect. Our goal is to showcase 15 national and international performers that present the full spectrum of the music from acoustic to electric, traditional to contemporary, Blues, Soul, Gospel and New Orleans style music.

The lineup features The Brooks Family Blues Dynasty [Lonnie. Ronnie and Wayne Baker Brooks], Billy Branch & The Sons Of Blues featuring Lurrie Bell, Carlos Johnson and Demetria Taylor, Joe Louis Walker, Earl Thomas, Corey Harris, Eugene Hideaway Bridges, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Teeny Tucker, Otis Taylor Band, Marquise Knox, Naomi Shelton & The Gospel Queens, Wallace Coleman, and Dawn Tyler Watson and Paul Deslauriers.

The Festival is known as The Blues Lovers Blues Festival because of its real deal programming and staying true to the booking philosophy of artists that live and breathe the music. Music fans from 20 states and several countries are expected to attend. The Pocono Mountains are approximately three and a half hours from Albany, New York. The late night jams are held on Friday and Saturday evenings in the on-site air conditioned lodge and you never know who will show up as the jams go into the early morning hours.

The Pennsylvania Blues Festival also features dozens of food and non-food vendors conveniently located between the two performance stages, scenic chairlift rides, plenty of free parking and on-site camping adjacent to the main stage with hot and cold running showers.

Hope to see you there.

Nice photos of blues musicians by Laura Carbone. You might want to correct spelling of Joe Louis (not Lewis) Walker on the captions. cheers, gary
